ABOUT THE WOODCRAFT STUDIO

The Woodcraft Studio is based at Raygill House Farm, near Hawes.  Our Craft shop and wood services all operate from this workshop.  Our volunteers continue to work to keep valuable heritage skills alive.  We are a registered charity and regularly donate any surplus income to local causes and community projects throughout the Dales.

The Woodcraft Studio has a range of products and services for private and commercial clients. 

 
These include: -

·         Gates - from bespoke individual entrance gates through to field gates

·         Fencing - all kinds from garden through to field fencing

·         Garden furniture - traditionally built pegged construction, one, two and three seats plus tables to match-please note that these are very popular and so ordering is essential

·         Hand turned craft items, including bowls, lamp stands

·         Kitchen products range - cookbook stands, bread, cheese and chopping boards (can be carved to order) and much more

·         Garden trugs, planters, raised wooden gardens

·         Craft and gift range - these change on a regular basis but are all handmade in small numbers - these are available in our craft shop

·         Do you have something that you would like to have designed and made for you by our craftspeople?

·         We love a one-off project so please get in touch - we are surprisingly good value for money!

The Woodcraft Studio can also prepare your timber for you. 

·         If you have your own trees, we can bring our mobile sawbench to you and turn your timber into valuable beams, boards, posts or fencing material.
